A reminder that Greene County eligible voters can cast their ballot today.

The Greene County Courthouse will be open today from 9am-5pm for early voting. Voters are reminded to bring their driver’s license or another form of photo identification with them when they vote. According to the Greene County Auditor’s Office as of Friday morning, 1,140 people have either voted early or requested an absentee ballot. Of that total, 58 ballots have not yet been returned.

Individuals that still have absentee ballots can drop them off anytime to the drop box that is located on the east side of the courthouse through Election Day at 8pm on November 8th. The final day to vote early at the courthouse will be on Monday from 8am-4:30pm.

Polls on Tuesday will be open from 7am-8pm.
