The Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department is offering a program to support healthy living in an unconventional way.
The Lazy Man Triathlon is a six week program that is designed to get people in shape by doing three portions of unique “legs” to a traditional triathlon. Participants are to login 26.2 miles on a treadmill, cross-trainer, or on a walking/running track, 112 miles on a stationary bike, and 50,000 meters on a rowing machine. Mileage can be recorded outside of using the Greene County Community Center in Jefferson.
The Lazy Man Triathlon is from November 7th-December 16th and there is a $20 charge, which includes a t-shirt. Space is still available and you can click the link below to access the registration form or contact the community center at 515-386-3412.
