All three counties in the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area are suffering from drought conditions of some kind.

According to the US Drought Monitor, about half of Dallas county, mainly the southeastern corner, is facing severe drought conditions, while the rest of the county is looking at moderate drought conditions.

The northwestern corner of Greene County is also suffering severe drought conditions, while the rest of the county, and Guthrie County are under a moderate drought. Things may change after the weekend rain though. Look for a rain update on Monday.
