adm-7

It was a cold, rainy, and windy evening in Adel for 3A state quarterfinal football, with usually those elements meaning a lower scoring game. For the ADM Tigers, they thrived in the conditions, as the Tigers put up a season high in points to advance to the state semifinals by the score of 68-42. ADM picks up their 10th win of the year, while North Polk concludes a wonderful season with a 8-3 record.

The Tigers lead 28-21 at halftime, but were able to use a major third quarter that saw them put up 26 points in the frame, build a major lead and never look back. ADM was able to use a major night from different pieces, as Christian Madison was the headliner, scoring two touchdowns on the night with one being a punt block recovery in the end zone. The Tigers were able to get a major night out of both Aiden Flora and Brevin Doll, as they both found the end zone multiple times. Wide receiver Cade Morse was able to make two incredible catches for touchdowns as the Tigers were able to run away with it for the victory.

ADM will be taking on the top seed Harlan Cyclones next Saturday afternoon at the UNI Dome in Cedar Falls. Both of these district foes meet in week 7, with Harlan able to win by the score of 42-7. Kick time for the game will be at 4 pm, and you can hear the action on True Country K1079, the KKRF app, and raccoonvalleyradio.com.
