Iowa State Patrol responded to two crashes on Interstate-80 Friday afternoon.

According to the Adair County Sheriff’s Office, the first crash happened just after 2pm on the westbound on ramp to Stuart. A pickup truck was laying in the ditch of the off ramp as crews attended to the scene. Stuart Fire and Police Departments, along with Stuart EMS assisted the State Patrol.

The second crash happened just before 2:30pm near the off ramp to Casey. Another truck was in the median and appeared to have hit the wire barricade. A sheriff’s deputy, along with the State Patrol and Casey Fire Department responded to the scene.
