Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers football is gearing up for a major 3A quarterfinal matchup tonight, as the Tigers will be hosting the North Polk Comets in Adel. ADM comes into the matchup with a 9-1 record while North Polk counters with a 8-2 mark.
The two teams met earlier this season with ADM winning the matchup 29-20 in their only matchup this year that was decided by less than 25 points. ADM was able to get 100 plus running yards from both Aiden Flora and Brevin Doll, while the defense was able to put up 6 sacks and 13.5 tackles for loss in the game.
The Tigers will be looking to win the turnover battle, establish their terrific running attack, and limit explosive North Polk plays. Weather conditions are not anticipated to be ideal tonight, so the team that can establish their offensive and defensive lines will be in good shape to advance to the dome next week.
You can listen to the game on True Country K1079, the KKRF app, and raccoonvalleyradio.com. Kick time will be at 7 pm with pregame coverage to begin at 6:30.
