Adair Casey / Guthrie Center High School had some wonderful news to announce yesterday. Senior quarterback Brock Littler won the School Scholarship award from the Heisman High School Scholarship competition. Littler was one of more than 5,700 students across the nation who were named School Winners.
To apply for the scholarship, students must be a graduating senior, have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, participate in a sport recognized by the International Olympic Committee, the Paralympic Games, and/or the National Federation of State High School Association and be a leader in his/her school and community.
The Heisman High School Scholarship was created in 1994, and over the past 28 years has awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars in college scholarships to more than 600,000 high school seniors.
