The Adel Public Library held a very profitable fundraiser last week.
Patron Services Manager Amy Puck says they were able to raise just little over $2,000 from a baked good fundraiser. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio they were not expecting the amount of money they received.
“We are incredibly thankful for everyone that participated in this fundraiser and we definitely look forward to how well it will do next year.” Puck says all the proceeds will go to the Friends of the Adel Public Library who are a support group that focuses on supporting the youth programming within the library. The Friends are still accepting donations at this link.
