The Dallas County Supervisors met on Tuesday.

The Board approved the Sheriff’s vehicle purchase request of a 2022 Ford Police Interceptor for $55,000. This new vehicle would replace a 2016 Dodge Charger in the existing fleet. The Board then approved a remodel of the Human Services Campus to improve the training space by adding electrical outlets to the floors and walls along with adding new carpet, with the price to not exceed $29,277. The Dallas County Emergency Management Agency was able to get a grant that covers roughly 95 percent of the cost.

Also, the Board approved the resolution for the secondary road’s local safety plan pledge to reduce highway fatalities and they updated the public on the five logos that were presented for the Dallas County Development Alliance.
