Saturday is an annual fundraiser where Jefferson and surrounding Greene County residents can enjoy a meal for a worthy cause.

The Jefferson Kiwanis Club 49th Annual Pancake Breakfast will be held at the Greene County High School Commons on Saturday from 6-11am. Jefferson Matters: A Main Street and Chamber Community Executive Director Matt Wetrich invites everyone out to this fundraiser where the Kiwanis helps contribute to other projects that support area youth.

“And it’s at the high school again this year. They’ve moved it out there in recent years, it was at the Elks (Lodge). So they’ve expanded out there (with) more room and supporting the high school kitchen folks there, and being able to include them is neat. So yeah, it’s always great to be able to bring the family out.”

The meal includes all you can eat pancakes, scrambled eggs, link sausages and beverages for $8 for adults, $4 for kids 3-10 years old, and anyone two and under is free. Tickets are available from any Kiwanian or at the Greene County Community Center, and carry-outs are also available.
