This week I sat down with Panorama Panther volleyball coach, Millie Sorber. We talked about the 2022 season.

The Panthers only had three seniors on the roster. But, they still made a big impact. Coach Sorber said, “My three seniors were definitely the core of our team. Especially coming in as a first time head coach and not necessarily knowing a whole lot about Panora and how the volleyball program works. I thought they were really good at giving me insight.” Sorber would continue, “All three of them were leaders in their own way. Definitely left it all out on the court. I’m very proud of all three of their seasons. And we’re definitely going to miss them next year.”

Coach Sorber was then asked about the youth of the team going forward. “I thought they did a really, really great job. I’m excited to have a lot of returning players for next season so we can keep capitalizing on everybody’s strengths. And have that more of an experienced team as well.”

The Panthers will look to build on some late season momentum heading into 2023.
