Funeral services for David Higgins, 75, of Grand Junction, Iowa will be held at 10:30am Monday, October 31, 2022 at St. Brigid Catholic Church, Grand Junction, Iowa.  Private family interment will be at a later date at Mount Calvary Cemetery.

 The family will be present to greet friends from 4:00pm – 6:30pm Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home, Jefferson, Iowa.

 Memorials are suggested to the Grand Junction Fire and Rescue.

 Survivors include his wife, Joan Higgins; daughter, Amy (Charlie) Riske of Bartlett, IL; brothers:  Wayne (Marla) Higgins of Ankeny, IA; Gary (Jane) Higgins of Grand Junction, IA and Dale (Sue) Higgins of Grand Junction, IA; sisters:  Ellamae (Bob) Hegna of Avoca, IA; and Rosie Washburn of Gilbert, AZ; other relatives and friends.
