A few Greene County students will perform in an elite choir ensemble.

High school freshman William Graham, sixth graders Cheyenne Clouse and Gabe Gerzema, along with fifth grader Delaney Pedersen were selected for the 36th Annual Opus Honor Choir Festival. Students were chosen by submitting recordings to four Opus Honor Choirs from among the over 2,100 students that auditioned.

The concerts will take place on November 17th at C.Y. Stephens Auditorium on the campus of Iowa State University. Guest conductors include fifth and sixth grade conductor Christina Svec from ISU and the ninth grade conductor Andrew Last from Luther College. 

The Opus Honor Choir Festival is hosted by the Iowa Choral Directors Association, Incorporated.
