Greene County head football coach Caden Duncan talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about playing West Lyon this Friday in the Class 2A football playoff round of 16 at Linduska Field in Jefferson. The Wildcats have had 30 straight winning seasons under head coach Jay Roozeboom and they were the 2A State runner-up in 2021.

“It’s a unique opportunity to face a great opponent like this. I was looking over the last 25 years and they average a State Championship every five years, which is pretty good! We know we can hang with them as they are really good, but non invinceable with two losses this season.  We certainly respect them and our mantra is ‘respect all, fear none.’ It’s nice to have them at home and hopefully we can protect the home field.” The Rams have won 13 of their last 14 home games at Linduska Field dating back to 2020.
