The Panorama Panthers volleyball season has ended. Here’s a recap of the 2022 season.
The Panthers season was a tough one. Panorama started the season with a loss to rival West Central Valley 3-0. The Panthers would respond with back to back wins over Coon Rapids-Bayard and Audubon, giving them a 2-1 record. However, the next stretch of games led to losses for Panorama. They lost three straight to South Central Calhoun, Greene County, and Van Meter. Panorama would rebound and a pick up a win over Interstate 35, 3-0.
After that win the Panthers would go on an eight game losing steak. They wouldn’t pick up another win until that beat Ogden, 3-1. They would participate in the West Central Activities Conference tournament. They won the first round against Madrid, but would lose in the next round to Des Moines Christian. Panorama would end the regular season in the Norm McCune Volleyball Invitational, where they were winless in that tournament.
Finally, Panorama would battle Underwood in the Class 2A Region 3 First Round of the playoffs. The Panthers fought hard but lost that one 3-0, ending Panorama’s season.
