Dallas Center – Grimes athletics will have a major week ahead of them, with the volleyball team getting the opportunity to play for a state tournament appearance tomorrow and the boys and girls cross country teams sending runners to Fort Dodge on Saturday.

The volleyball team will be playing tomorrow night on the road, as they will have a tough challenge ahead of them with one of the best teams in 4A in Cedar Rapids – Xavier. DCG will have to play one of their best games of the year, but have seen some great progress throughout the year.

Jack Every, AJ Angus, and Maddie Stevens will be the three runners representing the DCG program as they make the jump to 4A. They will be competing on Saturday afternoon with Stevens to run at 2:00 and Every and Angus to run at 2:45.

Will see how DCG athletics will look this week, as they will to finish the fall sports season strongly.
