One local Perry organization recently made a donation to help less fortunate families.

The Perry Elks Lodge #407 donated money to the Perry Community School Food Pantry. The Perry Elks received a grant through the Elks National Foundation for a Spotlight grant, which are donations from foundation members. 

Several Perry Elks helped to restock the school pantry shelves with needed food and other items. A total of $2,000 will be given to the food pantry during the school year.
