All counties in the Raccoon Valley Radio area have seen drought conditions worsen.

According to the US Drought Monitor, the majority of Dallas County is in a moderate drought along with the southeast corner of the county is in a severe drought. All of Guthrie and Greene counties are in moderate drought. Also the majority of Adair County is in a moderate drought. 

According to the National Weather Service, since October 1st through last Friday, Guthrie Center has received .15-inches, Perry has received 0.26-inches of rainfall and Jefferson had 0.36-inches of rainfall.
