Today starts the playoff season in full for West Central Valley. The volleyball team heads to Des Moines North High School today for the Class 2A Region 4 Quarterfinal. The 17-11 Wildcats will be facing off against the 31-18 Grand View Christian Thunder.

For West Central Valley, senior Marissa Hagen leads the team in assists, with 317 assists and averaging 4.1 per set. Another senior, Kinsey Alt, leads the Wildcats in kills averaging 2.1 kills and 2.4 points per set, with a kill efficiency percentage of 12.9%. Fellow senior Tasha Williams leads West Central Valley in blocks with 18 averaging .3 per set.
Senior Isabella Munoz leads the Wildcats in digs with 322, and averaging 4 per set. Another senior, Kamryn Nourse leads West Central Valley in serve aces, averaging .4 aces and 3.3 attempts for an ace efficiency of .9.
