Halloween is coming up soon and each community in Greene County has their respective Beggars Night slated for trick or treaters.

Scranton’s citywide Beggars Night is October 29th from 5-7:30pm. Then on October 30th will be the Grand Junction Beggars Night from 5:30-7pm, along with Truck or Treat in the downtown area where residents and businesses are invited to give out candy and other trinkets from their vehicle on Main Street. Also on October 30th in Rippey will be a Trunk and Treat from 5-7pm on Main Street. The Rippey Library Friends of Rippey and the Rippey Lions Club will also serve a free will donation meal starting at 6pm in the Rippey Community Room where there will be old fashioned games for kids.

On Halloween there will be Beggars Night for Jefferson and Churdan from 5-7pm and Paton’s citywide Beggars Night is from 5:30-7pm.
