The Mary J. Barnett Memorial Library is preparing for an annual event that shares treats and smiles.
The “Li-BOO-ary Bash,”is coming back for the third time to the library on October 31st from 4:45 to 6:45. Library Director Jeri Hawkins. She says this will be a fun event and will a lot to do for families.
“If you haven’t been to it yet, it is a lot of fun. We make a little family friendly event. We have a Halloween photo background so that you can stop by and get cute photos of your kids in their costumes. And then we also have a little Halloween kind of dark, not really spooky. It’s very children geared hallway for the kids to walk through and it’s got some glow in the dark lights and things.”
Hawkins also says there will be treats for children and games. She notes they are looking forward to seeing kids in their costumes.
