One week before State Qualifying Meet day for cross-country, the governing bodies have released assignments. Greene County runners make the long trek southwest to Shenandoah on Thursday, Oct. 20 for a Class 2A Coed meet. The top 15 individuals and top three teams for both girls and boys qualify for State competition north of Ft. Dodge later this month.

In addition to the host Mustangs and Greene County, others going to Shenandoah are Clarinda, Chariton, Des Moines Christian, East Sac County, MVAOCOU (Maple Valley), Red Oak, South Central Calhoun, Southeast Valley, Treynor, Woodbury Central/Kingsley-Pierson, Underwood, Van Meter, and West Central Valley.
