The Panora City Council met Monday. 

The Council was notified that the health insurance premiums decreased by 13 percent and approved the renewal for next year for city employees.The Council approved to pay an additional $500 to the Panora Area Development to offset the dues to the Greater Des Moines Partnership and utilizes the $15,000 of the Low to Moderate Income funds that were set aside for the upper story housing rehabilitation. Finally, the Council set the date of October 24th for a public hearing for the Community Development Block Grant from the Iowa Economic Development Authority for upper housing units.
