Gretah Kersey

Greene County hosts Clarke (Osceola) on Friday night in Class 2A District 8 high school football at Linduska Field in Jefferson. It’s the last regular season game and its senior night for the Rams with introductions of senior football players, cross-country runners, and the one senior cheerleader, Gretah Kersey.

Kersey told Raccoon Valley Radio she’s enjoyed her four years on the Cheer Squad and she thinks this is the most fun she’s had. “Everyone really gets along great and for nearly 25 of us to work together well, that’s really good!” She added she’s been accepted to attend Grand View University in Des Moines next fall and she’d like to cheer in college. She also is on Greene County’s girls’ track & field squad.

The football game with Clarke will be broadcast on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com with coverage at 6:20 p.m. and kickoff at 7 o’clock.
