The Panora City Council recently approved purchasing a used plow truck with the winter season right around the corner.
Mayor Pat Parker says that the city had two plow and spreader trucks that have reached their life expectancy and they approved the purchase of a 2004 Durastar 4300 Slow,Spreader and Dump Truck.
“So we’re going to rotate those two out and this one will come in and replace those two. So we’ll have two plow trucks that we have running all the time.”
Parker says both trucks they are selling are International Dump Trucks from the 1999’s. The Council purchased the new truck for $54,900.
