Dallas Center – Grimes fall activities are in full swing, and yesterday boys and girls cross country and volleyball all competed, and all were able to find some solid marks across the board.

Boys and girls cross country raced up in Fort Dodge with both sides finding good marks, the girls finishing 11th out of 24 teams and the boys grabbing a 12th place finish out of 27 teams. The girls were lead by Maddy Stevens, who finished 21st overall with a time of 19 minutes 30 seconds. The boys were led by Jack Every, who finished 27th with a time of 16 minutes 23 seconds.

The volleyball team was able to pick up their 2nd win in 3 days, as they swept ADM 3 sets to none 25-22, 25-9, and 25-17, picking up their 18th win in the process.

Football will be on the field tonight as they take on Des Moines Hoover, as they will be looking for their 2nd consecutive win. They will be celebrating senior night as well this evening, with the game to take place at 7 pm at the football stadium.
