With Indigenous Peoples’ Day holiday coming up on Monday, there are a few places that will be closed in Jefferson.

Jefferson City Hall, Jefferson Public Library and the Jefferson Post Office will be closed in observance of the holiday. Library staff reminds everyone that no items are due to the library when it is closed for a holiday. City staff reminds residents that garbage and recycling routes will be delayed by one day because of the holiday. Monday’s routes will be picked up on Tuesday, then Tuesday’s routes will be done on Wednesday, and Wednesday’s routes will be collected on Thursday.
