ADM boys and girls cross country was looking to put up a strong performance on Thursday afternoon up in Fort Dodge against multiple schools, and were able to put up some strong performances as the girls team finished 14th out of 24 teams and the boys team finished 19th out of 27 teams.
The field was loaded on both sides, the girls team was lead by senior Geneva Timmerman, who put up a good 7th place finish with a time of 18 minutes 21 seconds and was followed by freshmen Haley James, who finished 49th with a time of 20 minutes 4 seconds.
The boys were lead by Torin Timmerman, the sophomore putting up a mark of 16 minutes 27 seconds, good for 40th.
Both of the teams will now run in the Raccoon River Conference meet on Tuesday when the runners will compete at home at Hillcrest Country Club. The event is slated to begin at 5 pm, as the Tigers will aim for a top tier performance.
