The Adair County Health Foundation are putting on their Car Seat Program and are asking those interested to fill out a pre-order request. 

Marketing Director Amy Smith says anyone in need of a car seat can apply through the foundation and they will provide them with a car seat. She explains they are taking pre-order requests through October 14th. 

“And statistics show that children who are in a seatbelt and a car seat just have a much better chance of surviving and not being injured. So for us to be able to provide this to the community is really something that we are so happy to do.”

Individuals who receive a carseat will be asked to give a free will donation but it is not required  and the foundation will not provide installation. For more information you can use the link provided.
