Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center football will take on rival Panorama tonight for a chance to beat them two years in a row.
The Chargers defeated Panorama by a score of 70 to 0 in 2021 and now have chance to start a winning streak in the Guthrie County Showdown. AC/GC will have to stop the passing attack of the Panthers as they have thrown the ball 120 times this year for 431 yards. The rushing attack will have to be on point for the Chargers against their rivals. They have rushed for over 300 yards as a team in their last two games. Senior Brock Littler has really put it together running the ball this past couple of weeks with 163 yards rushing and one touchdown against Interstate-35 and 204 yards rushing and four touchdowns against Nodaway Valley. It’ll be the high powered triple option (5-1) AC/GC Chargers team versus a young (1-5) Panorama Panthers team. The game will be broadcasted on KKRF-2 or on Raccoon Valley Radio from Panora with Kickoff at 7pm and and pregame at 6:30pm.
