A local opera house will welcome a traveling musical group called Arbour Season this weekend.

Arbour Season is an indie and folk husband and wife duo who draws inspiration from the adventures they have traveling North America in their converted school bus home. Band Member Shane Anderson says that they have been planning on performing at the Warren Cultural Center for over a year now. Anderson describes what attendees should expect when they show up.

“We’re really personal, too. Like we love meeting people and we love giving tours of our school bus and telling people about that. So like, you can expect that our shows are really intimate. And so it’s not like we play from one song to the next and we kind of just blow through it and then we’re done. We love to tell the stories behind our songs. We like to kind of do crowd participation where sometimes, like the crowd will even answer questions out loud no matter how packed it is or how small.”

Anderson states one way to get to know the band is to follow their YouTube and Instagram pages. Arbour Season is the second show of the Warren Cultural Centers’ 2022-23 “Locals and Legends Series. Tickets are $15 for adults and free for ages high school and younger. People can purchase tickets online or at the door.

Order tickets at warrenculturalcenter.com  or get them at the door.
