The Stuart Fire Department is having an event coming up right before National Fire Prevention week. 

The general public is invited to their annual Fire Prevention French Toast Supper and Open House fundraiser that takes place on Saturday

The Stuart Fire Department has 20 volunteer firefighters on staff and responded to 135 calls last year and this fundraiser will help the department improve services and update their current equipment. This event also gives the department to review safety tips to prevent lives lost to fires.
