The Panorama Panthers faced off against their heated rival West Central Valley this week.
The Panthers were coming into this game with a four game losing streak. They were looking to end it against a team they’ve had a lot of success against historically. Things started out great for Panorama. They had an interception on WCV’s first drive that set them up at the Wildcats 14. Three plays later they punched in for a quick 7-0 lead.
However, the Wildcats responded in a big way. WCV would go 65 yards and tie the game at 7. They would remain tied after the first quarter. Then the Wildcats started to take over the game. WCV scored 14 in the second to take the lead at halftime, 21-7. WCV would add one more in third to lead 28-7 heading into the fourth. The Wildcats would open things up and score 21 points in the fourth. Going up 49-7 before Panorama added another touchdown late.
The Panthers offense could not move the football in this game, WCV’s defense managed to keep them out of the endzone for nearly three quarters. Panorama will lose their fifth straight of the season. They’ll try and end that streak once again next week. They’ll be back in Panora to take on the AC/GC Chargers. Kickoff is set for 7pm.
