The Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center football team is looking for five straight wins and three straight conference wins against Interstate-35 tonight in Truro.
The Chargers are coming off a shut out win (51-0) against Nodaway Valley holding the Wolverines to negative rushing yards and only 125 passing yards. While the Chargers racked up 437 yards rushing with an average per carry of 9 yards. Brock Littler as the Quaterback led the team in rushing with 204 yards and four touchdowns. The offensive attack for the Roadrunners will be diverse throwing the ball 70 times and running it 150 times this year. Grady Dodds will be the player to look out for as the Quaterback for I-35 he leads the district in passer rating and passing yards (557) along with second in passing touchdowns and completions. Also Christian Williamson Jr. leads the district in recieving touchdowns with three. AC/GC to come away with a win will need to run the ball effiency as they are currently second in the state (1,636) and on defense the secondary must hold up.
