A Redfield man was recently sentenced to prison for his role in the January 6th riots on the US Capitol building.
Sources say 38-year-old Kyle Young pled guilty to assaulting, resisting or impeding certain officers and was sentenced in federal court to a little over seven years in prison. The charge was from when Young assaulted one of the Metropolitan police officers in Washington, D.C. on January 6, 2021 while there was a riot at the Capitol building.
Young was arrested this past April, pled guilty to the one charge in May and was sentenced on Tuesday in court.
