We’ve come to the end of the summer Perry Farmers Market, with the final edition taking place later this week.
Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says their final market of the season is Thursday from 4-7pm on Second Street in Perry. She points out the last market includes kids activities with Atelier at 1109.
“Where kids go around and get kind of an I-Spy game where they find different items that are offered at the farmers market. So you get them looking around, ‘Oh, where’s the pumpkins?’ and ‘Where’s the this?’ and so it’s fun to see them enjoying the market as well. And then they can get a free t-shirt of their choosing with a punny farmers market related t-shirt. So that’s been a really good partnership (with Atelier at 1109) overall.”
Pasutti adds while the summer farmers market is coming to a close, the fall farmers market is starting up soon. She says there will be three fall markets on the third Saturday of October, November and December at the Perry Public Library community room starting October 15th.
