12:49pm: John Olson reported children on a 4-wheeler operating on the roadway in the 800 Block of Mahlon Street. The officer did not locate the subjects.

4:31pm: Brittany Gathercoal requested officers at 1409 North Elm Street for a situation with a vehicle. The officers arrived and spoke to the complainant, who advised she had loaned a vehicle to a subject some time ago. She advised she has been trying to get the vehicle back, but the subject will not give it to her. The officer determined the complainant was the owner and the vehicle was given back to her. The officer issued Michelle Ann Christian of Grand Junction a citation for, “Driving While Suspended.”

5:05pm: Stephanie Bickle spoke with an officer concerning her juvenile daughter leaving without her permission to do so. The officer is contacting the Juvenile Court Officer, who is involved with the daughter.

5:57pm: Justin McCool reported a semi was broken down on 220th Street, near Mulberry Street. The vehicle had left before the arrival of the officer.

6:12pm: A caller reported an Unlicensed Driver on West Harrison Street. The officer did not locate the vehicle.

6:47pm: Tiffany Johnson reported an injured cat in the street near Elm and West South Streets. The officer did not locate the reported animal.

7:36pm: An officer assisted a motorist with a dead battery near South Chestnut and Wilcox Way.

7:47pm: An officer investigated a Backing Accident in the private parking lot at 1505 North Elm Street. A 2022 Chevy Silverado, owned and operated by Michael Thompson of Creston, was backing a camper in the parking lot and struck a parked vehicle. The 2008 Ford F250 was owned by Fastlane Motor Parts of Jefferson. Each vehicle had a reported $2000.00 in damages.

9:52pm: Stephanie Bickle reported her juvenile daughter had run away again from 301 ½ East Lincoln Way Street. The officer began to search for the youth, who returned home on her own a short time later.

******** An officer has completed an investigation that began on 09/24/2022 at 207 West Gallop Road. The officer has requested Arrest Warrants for Sirjohn Daniels Wilder, 38 of Jefferson for, “Assault – Simple and 2nd Degree Harassment – Serious.”
