Dallas Center – Grimes volleyball will be facing one of the premier teams in their conference tonight when they welcome the Norwalk Warriors to town in a matchup that will have major implications on conference standings. Norwalk comes in with a 15-6 record and undefeated at 4-0 in conference play, and DCG at 14-9 and 1-0 in LHC effort.

Both teams played in tournaments last Saturday, with Nevada and DCG both going 4-1 on the day, and both building a good record in the month of September.

Both teams have good hitters, with Noelle Sutcliffe having 206 kills on the year for Norwalk, while DCG will rely on Haily Leinback and Deja Jackson, who both have over 100 kills on the season.

These teams played each other twice last year, and both teams split their matchups. DCG is up 15-6 in the series since 2009.

Tip time tonight will be happening at 7:15, as DCG will be looking to put up a major win to build momentum in the last week of September.
