The Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center Lady Chargers will celebrate their senior volleyball players tonight against Interstate-35.
The two seniors playing their last home game are Saige O’Brien and Jordan Lemke. O’Brien has spent all four years on varsity and Lemke has served three years. Head Coach Barb South says they have meant a lot to the growth of the AC/GC volleyball program.
“Their dedication and their leadership on in our program is one that will be greatly missed next year. Sage plays a big part in being our number one blocker in the front row and has continued to get more kills this year as a middle hitter and just always wants to cheer on the team and see us do well. Jordan Lemke is amazing libero in the back row and went through a little injury earlier this year and when she was gone we certainly missed her. So we’re grateful to have her back.”
The Lady Chargers will be looking for their third conference win with first serve being at 7:15pm in the ACGC Gym.
