This week of Greene County volleyball ends with Coach Chris Heisterkamp’s Rams hosting its second annual Ram Invitational on Saturday inside the high school gym in Jefferson. Prior to that, it’s a Tuesday date at State Center vs. Heart of Iowa Activities Conference opponent West Marshall.

The Rams will be trying to stay unbeaten in conference matches while the Trojans will be attempting to stay in the conference race. WM is 2-1 in league play with the conference loss to league favorite Nevada. Greene County is 3-0 in the conference, but has yet to face the Cubs. A win for Greene County in Tuesday’s match is vital if the Rams want to continue unbeaten in the HOIAC and have a chance at winning a conference title.
