Dozens of parks and forests across Iowa are hosting events to clean up and Springbrook State Park is asking for volunteers. 

The Department of Natural Resources is putting together the sixth annual Volunteer Day for the Springbrook State Park. The DNR will be asking volunteers to help them refinish picnic tables with stain and seal in the campground. The volunteer event at Springbrook State Park will start at noon at the campground gazebo. A light lunch will be provided. The DNR encourages attendees to wear outdoor and comfortable clothing for work purposes.
