Yesterday the West Central Valley volleyball team traveled up to Ogden for their first game of the week. Tune in tomorrow when we have the stats and scores for you. Monday night the cross country teams were in Adel for meets hosted by ADM. The Wildcats were one of ten teams competing, with a few familiar names also running at the meets.
For the high school girls, Taitlin Koch was able to grab herself a 10th place finish in the 5k run, and post a personal record time for the season, crossing the finish line in 21 minutes, 30.2 seconds. Chasey Rowan and Zalina Morse were also able to grab spots in the top 25. The Wildcats were able to finish the meet placing 5th out of the ten teams.
The high school boys were unable to field a complete team, so there was no team scoring for them, but Cael Hazen was able to place just outside the top 25, grabbing 26th place as an individual. Hazen finished with a time of 20 minutes and 2.9 seconds
The middle school teams were also able to compete, and Dallas Morgan from the girls team was able to place 16th, after finishing the 2 mile run with a time of 15 minutes and 1 second. The Wildcats placed 9th overall for the meet. For the boys middle school team Cooper Finestead was able to get a top 25 finish, taking 22nd place with a time of 13 minutes and 48.4 seconds. The team placed 9th overall for the meet.
