The summer Perry Farmers Market is winding down and there’s still two more opportunities to experience what the market has to offer.

Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says their final Third Thursday special events wrapped up for the year with Community Night last week, where organizations had booths to tell attendees what their organization is about, such as Habitat for Humanity and Raccoon River Pet Rescue. Pasutti notes there will continue to be other things going on for the last two farmers markets for the summer season.

“We have some other smaller activities as well. So produce giveaway with the (Perry) library (on) Thursday and then the kids activity for our last farmers market of the season on t he (September) 29th.

The Perry Farmers Market takes place from 4-7pm Thursdays on Second Street between Willis Avenue and Warford Street.
