Tomorrow the outdoor temperatures will be very hot.

According to the National Weather Service, Greene, Dallas and Guthrie counties will be in the mid-90s come Tuesday. Weatherology Meteorologist Michael Karow says strong winds will be ahead of a cold frontal boundary that will drive up the temperatures. Karow points out once that cold frontal boundary from the Northwest goes through, daytime highs after the middle of the week will be vastly different.

“Then into the day on Thursday looking at quite the cool down, only expecting upper 60s for high temperatures and the 50s for those overnight lows, and we lose that humidity as well. So definitely a quick snap back to fall-like temperatures there.”

Record highs might be set on September 20th as the National Weather Service reports Jefferson and Guthrie Center were both 91 degrees in 1998 and Perry’s was 92 degrees in 1984.
