A weekend water main break is affecting Minburn residents.

The city of Minburn is reporting a water main break northeast of Minburn. While Xenia Rural Water District crews are repairing the break, Minburn residents are under a boil advisory until further notice. Residents are to boil their water for two minutes for any food preparation or beverage use, including drinking water, brushing teeth, baby formula, washing produce, preparing food, coffee, tea, lemonade and all stored ice cubes should be torn out.

Water that is used for laundry, showering or shaving, watering grass or plants is safe to do without boiling.
