The Greene County Board of Supervisors will meet today.
The Board will consider for approval the second reading to amend an ordinance to extend the moratorium on utility-scale solar energy projects to October 24th at noon or when the Board recodifies the code of ordinances and then they will consider to waive the third required reading.
Additionally, the Board will discuss an executive board survey entitled petition to intervene with pipelines with the Iowa State Association of County Supervisors. They will also hear an update from Summit Carbon Solutions about their carbon dioxide pipeline and will hear the final revisions to the proposal for recodification of the ordinances and set a public hearing for that.
