After three weeks of the high school cross-country season the Greene County teams have had just two meets. That’s about to change this week with the West Marshall coed meet tomorrow at Lincoln Valley Golf Course near State Center and Thursday’s Roland-Story coed invitational at Story City.

Head coach Jeff Lamoureux watched his boys’ team finish seventh among 12 teams last Thursday at the Lake Panorama Par 3 Golf Course during the Panorama Invitational. The Rams were tenth among 11 girls’ teams.

The coach told Raccoon Valley Radio he saw improvement between the first and second meets of the season, even though the Par 3 Panorama course is hilly, windy, and one of the more difficult the Rams will run on this season.

Noah Hinote led the boys and Olivia Hansen was the top girl for Greene County last week.
