This weekend kicks off an annual week-long event at the Jefferson Public Library.

The 30th Annual Friends of the Jefferson Library Fall Used Book Sale begins this Friday where only members of the Friends can shop for any used books, DVD movies, CDs, audiobooks, board games and jigsaw puzzles. Memberships start at $5 for individuals and can be purchased at the door.

The sale is then open to the public starting this Saturday through next Saturday, October 1st when it is Bargain Day with every item is half off and you can fill a grocery bag with items for only $5. Library Director Jane Millard encourages everyone to the main fundraiser for the Friends.

“Can you believe this is the 30th year for our Fall Friends of the Library Used Book Sale? We’re so excited. We have so much inventory, so many things for people to choose from.

The Used Book Sale takes place in the basement of the library.
