adm-7

State ranked ADM Tigers football was looking to put together a strong homecoming showing on Friday night against Winterset, and they were able to ride Aiden Flora’s four touchdown night, as they defeat the Huskies 42-14. ADM improves to 4-0 on the year while Winterset dropped to 0-4.

ADM was able to score on their opening drive with Brevin Dole scoring from three yards out to make it 7-0, with Flora grabbing his first touchdown a few minutes later to give the Tigers a 14-0 lead after 1. Flora then found Cade Morse for a nine yard touchdown strike in the 2nd quarter, as they took a 21-0 lead at half.

Winterset played great to start the 2nd half, scoring on back-to-back drives to make it 21-14, but ADM was able to find a 32 yard rushing touchdown from Flora to create distance, and then Doll and Flora both found rushing touchdowns in the 4th quarter as they were able to pull away for victory.

Vince Benetti put up a major night, as he was able to pick up a pair of sacks, and the Tigers were also able to find an interception in the first half from Morse.

ADM was able to grab their first win in the series since 2019, and able to take a 6-5 series lead between the two teams since they started playing every year in 2012.

ADM will begin Class 3A district 6 play next week when they take on the Atlantic Trojans on the road. Kick time will be at 7 pm.
