Last night the West Central Valley football team was on the road, as they faced off against cross county rivals the AC/GC Chargers. Look for more on the game at the beginning of the week, and tune in to the Guthrie County PM Sports Magazine Monday night to hear about it from the coaches.

The volleyball team was in action Thursday night, hosting the Saydel Eagles, and were able to come away with a victory. Having also won their game Tuesday night against the Woodward-Granger Hawks, the Wildcats are now 4-7 on the season. The team keeps the action going today, as they head to Guthrie Center for the Charger Invitational, where a total of 8 teams will be competing.

The cross country teams made sure they weren’t left in the dust either, as the teams traveled to Panora on Thursday. Taitlin Koch and Chasey Rowan were able to come away with hardware from the meet, with Koch taking 12th place and Rowan taking 19th place. There were also several runners who were able to finish with some of their fastest times yet. Koch, Zalina Morse, Faith Rowan and Cael Hazen ran the fastest they have all season, while Faith Rowan recorded a personal best.
